#112086 RE: Ecomike #112083

I saw gold and oil falling, which I've heard aren't good signs for the economy, well oil anyway. But is it falling demand due to lack or real economic activity, or money fligting away from commodities into equities? Cooper is another indicator I've heard discussed, which is on a poor trend also (cooper is in everything.) Russel is lagging too, not a broad spike in equiteis. But no doubt, money is pouring into the Dow. What does it all mean? Perhaps it's just smart money making their current move while the general economy continues to sputter along... I find this chart to support only the larger caps are driving this:

I saw a bitcoin chart posted by someone here I believe... Read about it a little bit this morning. Seems like the equivalent of trading tuplips, lol. But whoever made serious coin in it last year isn't laughing. This bitcoin mining that's going on sounds like digital stealing to me. Which should have dire consequences? Will the bitcoin become a global currency alternate one day? Sounds interesting, but my knee jerk reaction is it's highly doubtful...

Just a Sunday morning spew over a cup of joe...

Have a nice rest of the weekend.
