i'm not making myself clear. from the july bottom we rose 1500 points in total. there was one solid retracement and one mild retracement. december 2 was a higher high in a series of higher highs indicating there were retracements followed by rallies there as well.
what i'm looking for is an example where we made a powerful move off of a bottom and went straight to lower lows without doing at least one retrace and rally to higher high.
a counter example would be if friday was "the" high and we go to sub-7500 without seeing a higher high.
