not sure i agree with your assesment of august. the big dump came off of the second (or third, depending how you count) high off of the mid-july bottom. plus the move in toto was pretty hiccupy compared to the one we just underwent.
To or past the recent highs, I am not sure, but as I mentioned, I do expect a mild bump up from the 1330/50 area. If the volume can exceed 19 B and the new highs go above 100 on such a move, then maybe, I'll join you in expectations of the recent highs being exceeded, right now, the pendulum is on the down side, but not in a single down swing.
