Indy/Sassy-Thank you for that.

There is no Mr. Right, only Mr. Less Wrong, than others. If he lacks the ability to be concilatory in argument and lacks the ability to compromise and be supportive in matters of great importance to you, watch out, probably an insecure control freak, or a libertarian.<G>

You are too funny. Better watch or Library Cop and Spallenzani will be after you.

You know, I once dated a guy who stopped dating me when he found out I was a Democrat. That's OK because I realized I could never go to bed with someone who thought Reagan was the greatest president of the 20th century.

I know about there being no Mr Right, but even Mr. OK is not good enough. I am tired of people telling me that I am too picky - I think I need to be when it comes to a long term relationship. I refuse to compromise on some issues - if I did I could not live with myself. I am a happy person with a great family and friends - a steady would be nice, but not necessary for me to feel "completed" or fulfilled.

Re: indy708

If he lacks the ability to be concilatory in argument ...

Is your idea of "conciliatory" to insult someone, and then, because they have the audacity to ask questions challenging the validity of the initial insult, to further insult them by calling them an "anal nit"?

... and lacks the ability to compromise ...

Would that be "compromise" at the point of a gun?

... and be supportive in matters of great importance to you, watch out, probably an insecure control freak, or a libertarian.<G>

If you're suggesting that "control freak" and "libertarian" are anything other than polar opposites, either your confusion or your dishonesty has reached new heights. Thanks for the demonstration.
