You asked if there was a "war on Christmas" and indicated that you did not think it existed. I answered that beyond all shadow of doubt that the liberal secular media, the PC folks, and secular humanists are indeed leading a war on Christmas. Now, you are changing the subject, arguing that the "war" is justified -- I disagree.
The holiday is a federal holiday, and it is called "Christmas", not "holiday". That brightly lit up tree is a "Christmas tree", not a "holiday tree" and we give "Christmas gifts", not "holiday gifts." The holiday in question is a celebration of the birth of Jesus, and some 90% or better of the nation's citizens see it that way. If you do not want to participate, so be it -- you have that right. But do not force your beliefs on the vast majority.
