Can you say Karma? Looks like someone is stealing their clients already lol
Dear Client:
Our clearing firm has been made aware of a site with a similar URL to our online.apexclearing.com site, which we believe has been fraudulently created in an effort to capture client log-in credentials. The URL of the fraudulent site is: www.onlineapexclearing.com.
(Note that there is no 'dot' between 'online' and 'apexclearing' in the fraudulent address).
The appearance of the site is very similar to the authentic online.apeclearing.com, and could easily be mistaken for the real thing. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to inform your customers of the existence of this bogus site. Additionally, please remind them that the authentic Apex site is a 'secure' site. As reminder, you can confirm that a site is secure by ensuring that the URL begins with https (note the 's' at the end), and that there is a lock icon displayed somewhere in the browser window (usually in the address bar). Apex is aggressively attempting to have this fraudulent site shut down.
If you have any questions, please contact us at info@stockusa.com.
