fuagf -- given methods and means of attack available by now, and more and more so as time passes, it seems to me that barring incredible defensive capabilities they almost certainly don't/can't possess, they're huge targets that cannot hide and can only move so fast and only in open water, which is to say, sitting ducks -- just as was the case respectively with battleships in their context going into WWII
