There is also rejection of the shipment if it falls below a certain percentage....typical in all iron ore contracts. For example, if the grade is so low from stated agreed upon FE in the contract, buyer has to blend with higher ore to get the Fe to match what the furance can handle or need. That cost the buyer money. Uneven FE was and is always a problem for Mexico.
