Supposedly because INTC and SNDK already have cross-licensing for MLC, though INTC's NOR production. The question which isn't clear (in my mind, at least) is whether that cross-license will apply to NAND output as well. Sandisk has been silent about it so far. Expect to see something later today or at least in the next couple of days.
Pretty bizarre trading--over 40m shares already, and all three stocks are down, though obviously Sandisk getting hit the hardest. I think a lot of stops are being taken out, and a lot of short selling on the way down.
What would a volume reversal require? And does it have to happen today, or would it still apply if it happens tomorrow or Wed? Or is that just a DCB?
