Once again, it does not matter that you were "right" on this issue - focusing on that is missing the forest for the trees. The key points in this compensation conversation are:
- The Chairman and CEO, who should have 2 salaries for his 2 positions, takes NO cash salary, and is only paid in stock.
- The CFO makes a paltry cash salary for his level position and is paid the rest in stock
- The COO makes a slightly higher but still paltry salary for his level position and gets the rest in stock.
- The entire board of directors takes NO salary or cash retainer (unheard of) and is paid a retainer entirely in stock.
This is all a tremendous and unconditional level of support from the people running the company, who only make any real money if the companyt and share price grow
This is an enourmously positive sign for stockholers.
