Exactly, the outlandish claims about technology and the fact that Tiger was on board was the big selling point - not a reason to not invest
I don't think Tiger would be associated with anything that would be considered a scam or controversial. Tiger is the reason I am still invested here. If they can sell Tiger on the tech , they sold me and I bet a lot of others
As for management background checks or whatever - what did you really expect ?People of welch , jobs or mulally's calibre ?
As for the performance of the management since then , that is a whole another story.....
