slyhunter, I`m just speculating also, what`s your real reason why you`re here? are you just another shorty? I say yes. Too many great things going on with GTE to be negetive at this point.

Last post:
I am just speculating, however it has to do that I don't think a contract will come immediately after a demonstration. The parties at large would need time to negotiate and get authorization from higher ups etc before negotiating a contract thus I don't see it happening say within the next 30 days per say.

Post before that:Fine they launched the military test successful whats next. Odds are several weeks of nothing, during which time the stock will slowly creep down as daytraders and other bored traders switch over to other more active stocks planning on jumping back on GTE right before the next pr.

There probably won't be any more announced tests for a long while. There probably won't be any announced contracts for a long while.

thus the choice is let your money sit stagnent on GTE while waiting for somethign happen or move it elsewhere temporarily while something is going on elsewhere.

You say fine? how about great?

post before that: Got to get past the FCC first and that is probably going to take a bit of time. Or was it the FAA? I remember somebody didn't want to approve civilian unmanned aircraft

Do me a big favor and find another stock that you think will do good for your needs. LOL

Slyhunter, I don't agree with you.
We are all speculating, but this is how I see it. Fact: the two stratellites were build to military specification to demonstrate to the military. I don't think any company just builds something like that (for the government) without having a contract already lined up and without getting paid for it. IMHO GTE will be a subcontractor for a big defense contractor such as Boeing, Northrop Gr. etc. and the money is already allocated. If successfull as advertised in the pr, I believe orders will be rolling in in days and weeks rather than months and years. JMO

sly, the dod has been involved in the strat development for some time now, the demo could have been a formality with contract negotiations further along then you might think.
