Marduk was later known as Bel, a name derived from the Semitic word baal, or “ lord.”
What I try to do is tie up loose ends and confusion by identifying the various names for God(s) back to their Sumerian origins. And I think it can be done. Except for the occasional made-up nonsense god, there could not have been one or more for every race. They are the same gods with different names, and those gods are the Anunnaki. The evidence is overwhelming, imo.
