I agree - I have done a poor job of riding what I could see coming, and I missed it by making the same mistake as before. Since we started this rally from a much less deeply oversold position and the Fed had already been supporting the market for a while, I did not believe they would be able to mount a continuing ramp as they did in July and October - so far, that was a bad assumption. They were much easier to play back during the summer and before when their visits were rare and the only intent was to prevent a meltdown. That is no longer the case.
