My intention was to clarify. As far as I'm concerned neither party was exactly right. The important point is the several of the founding fathers were not born here and many had parents that were not born here. What I'd like to see is a little more tolerance. We are a nation of immigrants.

Turkey, let me start with you first......

I checked on the signers of the Declaration of Independence, and found that in FACT (something you might not have a speaking aquaintance with), 8 of the signatories to that document were born in England, Scotland or Wales. Of the other 49, I was unable to find birthplaces for 4 of them.

Either admit it or be called a liar.

Damn, I'm surprised the other 49 let those immigrants sneak in their. The fact is all of our founding fathers were from a strange land ie. heritage!
