Well, let's see here.

This continent was discovered in the late 15th century by European explorers. Then, settlers came. Then villages, towns, and cities grew. The average generation was something around twenty years. And there were several generations of Americans between the first settlers and the Founding Fathers.

The Founding Fathers were born on this continent of parents mostly born on this continent. They were Americans before there was America. They came from the thriving metropolises of Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, and others that don't come immediately to mind. A few may have been recent immigrants but the majority were not.

They certainly were not as you put it <a bunch of strangers from other lands.> This was their land. They took it from the natives just as our Texian founders took it from the Mexicans. They rebelled at rules and regulations enforced by the Monarchy and its' representatives, and when they had enough, they threw the scoundrels out.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Take your revisionist, liberal history re-writing, snide "Hey history buff....."remarks and asinine attitude and shove it.

Sheesh, if dumbass was fatal, you'd be hospice bait.

Hey History Buff yourself. I did a bit of research to check on your statement that:
"One more time, the founding fathers who wrote the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were all,

a bunch of strangers from other lands."

Not so fast and loose with the truth, Bullpuckey. I checked on the signers of the Declaration of Independence, and found that in FACT (something you might not have a speaking aquaintance with), 8 of the signatories to that document were born in England, Scotland or Wales. Of the other 49, I was unable to find birthplaces for 4 of them. The other 45 were born in the colonies, the original 13, which are really here, turkey. You could look it up at the following website if you really cared to do so. I suspect you would rather promote your exalted but misinformed opinions as fact.

Before you go shooting off, you really should check your facts.
