Stump Cramer (no computers, memory only)

In a segment called "Stump Cramer," viewers called in to ask about stocks they hoped Cramer wouldn't know. Cramer was stumped by Enterprise Products Partners (EPD:NYSE) , Illumina (ILMN:Nasdaq) , Pain Therapeutics (PTIE:Nasdaq) , Mattson Technology (MTSN:Nasdaq) and MDU Resources Group (MDU:NYSE) .

Cramer was not stumped by Ballard Power Systems (BLDP:Nasdaq) . "I know it enough to give it a thumbs down," he said.

He also wasn't stumped by Salix Pharmaceuticals (SLXP:Nasdaq) , a "not great drug company," he said. "Don't touch that one."

MDU was one of several that callers stumped JC with on Tuesday show. Not the lightnin' round where he uses all his proprietary software & hardware minus chair!

Stump Cramer is a regular feature on his Real Money radio show, but only occasionally on CNBC Mad Money! He goes it cold turkey... no tools!

So all the callers dig for a stock to stump him so they can win one of his books! Since there are tens of thousands of public companies out there, they do occasionally get the book. Tuesday he gave away a lot of books... including to the MDU caller.

Must've been recovering from his 60 Minutes interview... or distracted by the GQ Man of the Year!
