It will be very disappointing if Intel fabs ARM processors for Apple.

It would be a huge mistake.

Intel needs to hang tough and develop x86 into the processor that
is the clear best choice for mobile markets. Let Apple come around
like they did for the Mac.

Could you imagine the bumpy road Intel would have gone down if it
had agreed to license and fab PowerPC processors to capture Apple
as a customer a decade ago?

Why?
What if Arm came calling-stranger stuff has happened.
Everybody forgets that ARM is not a fab.

I don't see it as bad at all.
X86 will come.

Besides that may be what is holding Apple up in the first place.
The A6 and its derivatives are crap anyway.
