Hopefully not as Pat Roberts commission will start hearings and all hell will break loose. Those hearing will be over by election time and by then I even think some republicans will smell blood in the air and will have to develop a backbone and openly oppose Bush. After all they need to be elected again right? If you can recall it was the Republicans who talked Nixon into resigning.
Maybe not. Today hawkish Rep John Murtha (D-PA) called for an immediate withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. Rep Murtha, a Marine intelligence officer in VietNam, responded to Cheney's criticism of Dems who have been critical of this admin on Iraq..."I like guys who've never been there to criticize us who've been there. I like that. I like guys who got 5 deferments and have never been there and send people to war and then don't like to hear suggestions about what needs to be done".
Maybe we won't have to wait until after the mid-term elections.
