the underlying facts indicate JCP is tremendously overvalued at 15

Big institutional holders are selling at 50% loss, doesn't look like JCP will win the court case against macys, metrics are bad and getting worse.

The wildcard is the 30-40% short position. I would rather play the straddle then own shares outright
