No sure how far your word will go with him, but it's a useful datapoint to me. My mother also has a Dell laptop, and she's never complained about it being too hot. You can take that to mean whatever you will, but if her laptop CPU heated up to 85C degrees, I'm sure she'd notice! I'm also sure the millions of return Dell customers would also disagree that their Dell's are POS systems, but I suppose some people just can't seem to get past their own preconceived notions.
