What you are saying is that the existence and reality of God is a matter of faith, and with that I agree. Then you state further that "measureability and replicability is the basis of science", but in what respect is evolution measurable or reproducible? Has a single instance of evolution from one species into another ever been demonstrated?? No. Has evolution ever been duplicated in the lab?? No. Then why is it presented to students as fact, rather than theory, and why does it have any more merit than the competing theory of creationism??

As I have said many times here, I have no problem with science itself -- my problem is with evolution. It is not a fact, it is a theory, and whether one believes in creationism or evolution, it is a belief based on faith, not on proven fact. There is no comparison between evolution and technology or medicine -- both technology and medicine can be, as you said, demonstrated and replicated in the lab. Evolution cannot be so tested.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your cat. Pets become part of our family and the death of a loved pet can be a painful experience.
