Century - Hopes for buyout... possibility

My question to the board, if anyone has experience in bought-out companies.

Food for thought, anyway.

Would a buyout target, which is approached by a BP inform investors when they are approached (I think not - they are approached all the time, I believe).

Follow the path:
At what point, would ARNA, with it's standstill with Eisai notify Eisai that they were 'approached' and given and an offer? (Probably right away)

Would they state that offer (if bona fide)?
(Sure they would)

Would Eisai then develop a counter-offer?
(Of course they would, part of fiduciary duty on all parties)

When and why would Eisai make an another offer?
(Because they wouldn't want ARNA to escape them)

When and why would ARNA take that offer?
(Now, it gets dicey - too low and SHs get upset and sue, too high and Eisai might have issues with their SHs)

When would any of this information be transmitted to ARNA shareholders?

>>> This is the most interesting question as we lead to Monday. I don't think they would announce an ounce (nice play on words) of information until it was mostly a done deal. I also think that Jack Lief was at the Eisai meeting in Florida (if that was happening, which I believe it was). Eisai and Jack were there. They invariably had meetings. Did those meetings involve a merger or buyout?

Just throwing it out there, folks. Not a pump. The markets are closed until the meeting, but if you don't think ARNA has a good to great product in the offing, is severely undervalued at 8.33, and with Europe will be the only game in town for years to come, then you shouldn't be reading this message board or this message.

We hear about how starved BP is for products, and $14 to $20 is dirt cheap for the prospects.

Monday, early, for ARNA reporting, before the bell.

Who knows - it won't surprise me at all.
