I admire your energy.

I have none when it comes to discussing "issues" with fools.

I love the fact that PC idiots think that they can change minds by silencing people.

My 21 years in Manhattan are an indelible part of my soul. The day the towers fell, the smoke was visible from the office windows where I work... 35 miles away. One of the women I work with came into the office in tears. She was seven months pregnant working on the 70th-something floor when the first bombing occurred. She was one of the sooty-faced folks they showed on TV who had to walk down pitch black dark stairways to get to safety. She had friends she lost who were still working there.

I went home and did not turn on the TV. I could not bear to watch the towers fall. I did not see the footage until 6 months later when I watched the french documentary 9-ll. When I finally saw the collapse I sobbed uncontrollably.

They did not show the burning people walking past them. They did not show the jumpers bodies hitting the street though you heard the godawful sound.

I cannot think about that day. I hate the people and their kind who committed the atrocity.

I only have one question at this point ... how can you accept, hook line and sinker, the words and opinons of one professor, and simply write off the words and opinions of so many others, who say something different?

Your assumption that all my information is based on one professors words is wrong. You asked me to supply "a" link to a definition for the word Jihad...I did. What makes you think I "wrote off" the words and opinions so many others presented? Is it because I don't agree?
If posting to this board means I must agree with everything said, please let me be upfront...that is not going to happen.
I was under the impression this board was a sharing of ideas, I hope that impression was not a false one.

GP...Great question, one I have asked many a college student. But also one for which I have yet to hear an answer.

I hope Tate answers, it might help me to understand their thinking.
