buccaneer1961, You want to know what type of diving equipment they took?? All you have to do is some DD. The Spanish used native pearl divers and worked them to death. It's all in research, another thing that some may not know. There was diving equipment available hundreds of years ago. They had leather diving helmets with a hand pumped air compressor. See the link below. http://www.seagrant.wisc.edu/madisonjason11/diving_helmut.html
Did the Spanish recover all the treasure on a wreck?? No. Treasure Hunters don't even recover all the treasure on a wreck found today.
Did every Spanish Ship carry Treasure? Absolutely not.Do some research on the internet. Spanish Treasure Fleets usually only traveled to Spain in Convoys. Once or twice a year and some years they didn't even do that. I hope you have a treasure wreck. Was the Latana site ever salvaged by another company?? Did they ever find treasure? Just asking.
Is the Lantana site Grandfathered in with Spain like the Atocha?? I don't know, maybe you can answer that. If not. Yes, if there is a great deal of Treasure on it, watch out for Spain. Just because a treasure wreck is in FL State waters, does not mean that Spain will not come after it. That is a Fact. Don't believe me. Check out info on the Juno in Maryland and the La Galga wrecks. Same thing. In State waters and Spain went after them, after they were found. I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade. Just offering DD.
I do wish SFRX Luck. I like to see every company succeed. It's good for the whole treasure industry. I like Kyle's business plan.
