Pomeroy IT Solutions Misses SEC Deadline to File 3Q Results After Finding Accounting Errors
HEBRON, Ky. (AP) -- Pomeroy IT Solutions Inc. said on Tuesday it missed the Securites and Exchange Commission's Nov. 14 deadline to file its third-quarter results after discovering accounting errors.
The information technology service provider said the errors involved cost calculations and billing errors which were related to a new information technology system that was implemented during the first quarter 2005.
The company said it will review its invoicing services for each month of the year, and as a result of the review, it may discover that prior quarters reported in 2005 also contained inaccuracies.
Pomeroy also said that it is withdrawing third-quarter guidance, and that third-quarter results may be contain "a significant change" from last year.
Shares of Pomeroy, which have traded between $9.45 and $16.37 over the last year, hovered just above its 52-week low, closing at $9.75 on the Nasdaq.
