The advanced Electric Vehicles of Terra Inventions Corp. with LiV™ technology are energy efficient due to cutting edge, active cell balancing and smart Battery Management Systems. The drive train is designed so that it follows the energy efficient proprietary operations protocol to avoid parasitic energy losses.

The main components of the LiV™ electric drive system are: motor, motor controller, battery charger, water pump, DC/DC converter, contactor Box, battery management system, and lithium ion battery pack. The majority of the components are all located in the engine compartment with the inertia switch and fuse block located under the hood on the passenger’s side. This vehicle is equipped with Regenerative Braking. When the throttle is released, the motor returns the current to the batteries.

The touch screen LCD display of Battery Management System (BMS) shows the real time state of the battery pack. The BMS also informs of low battery conditions. When the battery reaches a point where voltage is low the BMS prompts with a visual and audible Low Voltage Alarm. The alarm warns the driver when the battery charge reaches 25 miles left and again at 15 miles left. At this point driver should return to a location where you can charge your vehicle. Any model under LiV™ series operates as any regular vehicle. Acceleration and braking feels normal.
