A week ago the PIC list finally surfaced with a 1/2% gain after a long time showing a loss. Now, this week, we're sporting a 3.1% gain. Not bad for a week's effort.
A virtual sale took place with KEA for 50 shares at $10.52. Other activity was the execution of "vealies" on CLE at $28.21, MCRS at $28.00, SMTC at $17.77 and ZQK at $17.52. All of these had adequate cash reserves compared to the Idiot Wave, so we ignored the sell order requests and instead upped Portfolio Control by half the sell value.
The Buy&Hold version of the same portfolio is currently showing a 5.3% loss, so AIM's winning at this juncture. Twelve are still showing a loss in the AIM account where 18 are losers in the Buy&Hold account. Again a nice improvement by using AIM.
A new PIC stock is added to the list last week with Cerner (CERN) at $21.47. It sports a very low BETA of 0.90, but has been growing at a compound of 19% for about ten years. Not too bad! It's expected to grow at 13% for the next 3-5 years according to Value Line.
