I hear you!
I’m a conservative, too, but I think the Republicans botched this issue in a big way. Even if the competition for administering the Medicare drug benefit nominally keeps costs down, you have to account for all the time and expense put into figuring out the rules and marketing the myriad plans.
When all is said and done, I wonder if a single-payer government plan wouldn’t have been more cost-effective.
