emit I'm sharing your thinking here....this network is like watching an intricate quilt being put together...the full picture is a GLBT network...one, two or three. What's interesting is that the folks are actually working together and not slamming each other like most competitors..how do I know that? Well QTN always refers to the competitors as 'our friends at xxxx'. What's also interesting is that a while back I put out an article where 22 GLBT agencies joined forces to provide strength in moving the GLBT community forward (and some are competing agencies)...and now I read that PlanetOut has put QTN's video stream on their website....these folks are sticking together, doing it intelligently, recognizing that 'in numbers there's strength'...unlike most other movements that have been more fragmented and competitive in nature therefore diluting the effort....I find it fascinating how many GLBT agencies across the country are either a live guest/phone guest or satellite guest on QTN discussing their efforts. This is an area that is going to be repeated many, many, many times to get this effort to move through the concrete barriers that currently exist...and also QTN has a window between programs that has different folks acknowledging the network, Candace Gingrich and Chris Baron are 2 and there are more....Candace is HRC and Chris is Log Cabin Republicans....
I think emit your comment could have some merit....
