Have you talked to your DM that was put on furlough. Most of them have been terminated if they haven't been brought back yet. As for selling off in pieces any thing is possible but everyone is in the dark and has no answers
My DM is in that same situation. She is continuously told that they want to bring her back on yet don't know when. She is one of the ones that they still haven't let go, however they still talk to her and give her info. Here is what she has been told (but I feel some is still speculation)
-The company ClearLake (or whatever it's name is) is our potential buyer. Babies R us and Walmart have signed agreements with them however Sears does not want to. They are thinking that Sears is wanting to keep SPS and run them themselves. (again this is supposedly)
