In prisons, they are referred to as being "concrete headed" since they have no self awareness of their own emotional pain, and consequently they have no shame in what they say or do to good folks like the Spencers in their deliberate infliction of emotional anguish. In the Navy, miscreants like Wallace would be out on a psych discharge. I bet Wallace doesn't even realize that the reasons his wife left him were more than just his obsession with GOSY and the Spencers, but also due to it being like arguing with a stump at times. Sociopaths, like Wallace, have no clue how dysfunctional and mentally ill they really are. After all, everyone else lies, but they never do!
