I see no press releases or any mention anywhere on GOSY's website directly or indirectly indicating that facial reco was included, or needed for that matter...
Why is that required for Grandma's living alone?
For intruder detect?
Just counting the number of warm bodies will let the Carebot know if an unexpected person is present, a "possible" intruder.
How does one video the fall detection capability and it not be criticized for being staged? How does one NOT stage that demo such that it is not disputed and mocked?
Only a live demo is my answer-
BTW, those that have never seen a live demo of any mobile robot at any time are the most skeptical.
