Teva Faces Possible Damages From Selling Generic Protonix

This was known since Pfizer (Wyeth) has submitted its damages claim, and was mentioned in Teva's 4Q2011 call. So, the damages they claim ($2.1B from Teva plus $960M from Sun), are not new nor surprising. The fact that Teva waited until 3Q2012 to book a $670M provision is related directly to the new CEO, imo.
