In 2012, while the company was still in the R&D phase and borrowing money to sustain operations, it was strategically decided to temporarily forego the very expensive process of filing quarterly audits.

By filling Section 15(d) NTEK significantly lowered its operating costs and management time commitment for compliance and reporting activities. Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance is also no longer needed.
