I was responding to a post on religious beliefs posted to me by another poster. If you do not want to read it, I understand, and that is fine.
By the way, God has not put anything in writing (or showed up) for a couple of thousand years because He has already said all He has to say to us. It is up to us to read and study what He has already told us in Scripture. Instead, in our rebellion against Him, we reject and ignore what He has told us, choosing to rely on our own human "wisdom" instead.
The fact that He has not communicated in person with us in two thousand years does not mean that God is through dealing with mankind -- He most certainly is not. He deals with His people daily and He is coming again to this earth, this time not as the Lamb of God, but in judgement. It is too important a subject to ignore.
