imho, for the first time, despite what you suggest about me, the ta clearly says we should break through. It DOESN'T mean we will, it means that in my silly opinion, we should.
There are two reasons I care. I have been doing this for so long that I know I do better in an up market than a down market. It's easy for me in an up market, and easy in a flat market. Just personal preference. There is a guy on Zeevs who has to be damn close to the most negative guy on Earth. I am sure he has done VERY well from his bomb shelter the past 3 years.
The second reason is that I am a US citizen and would like to see us come out of this death spiral. The guy in the bomb shelter thinks he cares too. Sure he does. Buffett says he cares too, while he talks about how he wants hand outs for Gen-Re, because NY is gonna get nuked any day. What a guy.
By the way, since I doubt the nasdaq sees 4000 again before 2020, it kind of sucks when folks insult me about being so bullish. I am not saying YOU are doing this, I am simply taking this opp. to comment. One nice fella has told me in private to ignore the negative male I get. He put it well: "Folks get all upset when they reailize the world is complicated." Apparently it would surprise some of these types how much I made on the short side the last 3 years. Whatever. I'd prefer to make it looong and it shows, so they get confused. In part I started this thread to clear up some bs about my "calls." The perma-bears want to see some successful ta based trading? Well A-Ok. Let's see how it goes. Maybe someone can do a whole lot better, because you know as a bull, I must be losing my ass.
