I spent a few hours late last night examining my 1884 S under different light spectrum's. There is some nice toning that I previously over looked that is along the rim under the neck line. There is some minor scuff or "bag marks" that I have seen on many MS coins. Breast feathers are all visible, slight wear, Liberty is well defined, the S is well defined, hairlines, neck line, ear, hell, it's a damn nice coin! The only think it lacks is the MS luster. Has a nice shine except for where the toning is. Like I said previously, I have seen some high grade AU's that don't appear to be as nice, not by a long shot! Still on the fence whether to try auction and risk a minimal roi or a bin/obo....
