Right—that's why one needs to buy ZTS on the open market to establish a decent-sized position.

I laid out the "TGDT" premise for owning ZTS in #msg-82548993; however, I'm not yet sure about the valuation.

I've never bought any stock through an IPO or on the first day of trading, but I suppose there's a first time for everything :- )
