Should the close be at or near the high I am thinking about entering a position in USPIX simply based on around 90 NDX points and 7 green candles in a row.

If there's an immediate retracement I think the Ndx falls more than the Spx and I profit.

If the top is blown off I limit my losses.

Tough tape to be short and unhedged.

Worked today anyhow, for a net gain of .38%
