$USGT Metamorphosed sedimentary rocks are correlated on the basis of lithologic sequence with unmetamorphosed Neoproterozoic to Devonian strata of the Cordilleran miogeocline in nearby mountain ranges (Howard, 1971). The strata are tectonically thinned from original thicknesses (table 1).
