Yes....growing too fast...resulting in lack of direction after such. The Homestead in the 90's was a circus freak show. I mean that in a good way. they spent a lot of money on things ..."BRANDING". Just look at the Homestead..et al...the headquarters(It's a basket). I love it though. You tell your friends to buck up and accept it one last time. Change is hard, but this is good management, and Tami's not leaving...period!
I can tell you why my friend quit...her husband was getting tired of seeing baskets everywhere, and she herself had to quit....because she couldn't stop collecting and selling(was running out of room..and it's a big house). She loved the product so much...did it for almost 15 years.
She sold off a lot....but the funny thing..she's still buying/selling here and there. I think she keeps her basket collection around a hundred now(easy to do given all the sizes). Of course any pottery etc is open ground. I hope they get into the kitchenware more. Love that
