You could probably still wire a house with cameras for less than the Double Robotics robot.

Check this one out! I bet it won't be long before you could use your smartphone to operate the Double.



Seeing that the carebot can't do any of the things the company claims it can, such as biomonitoring, or fall detection, I see Double as a better, more affordable option.
