It sure is sad to finally see who all the claimants are and a very big surprise to see the total loss!!
I can still think back to when TRIL was 20mm shares @$<2, Kandle was willing to chat at the Sunrise site, then TRIL became TIV, then got to $17.50 by 2005.
I thanks God to this day that I was close to the company for those good old days, because I was able to see what was really going on. By the time the stock returned 10x and TIV had not completed one new well, I was laughing on my way to the exit, favoring stronger, better managed companies with my investment resources.
I never imagined OPUS was more than $100mm, especially since the documents Blystone sent me in response to my own request for an OPUS investor package totaled 3 pieces of paper instead of a prospectus, an accredited investor questionnaire, an offering memorandum.
BTW, if he failed to properly make the disclosures as required by SEC requirements, he remains "personally liable" forever. I expect that he (or his estate) will file personal bankruptcy before this ends.
