You do read other boards right? This is mild compared to several I've been on..... I've seen boards where CEOs and their lawyers have becomed involved....
And- If not for Champ, this board would have had 0 mods for a period of about 2 weeks.
Tougher skin is all that is needed. If you're going to post things as facts and then not be willing to defend them, you have to expect to reap the harvest.
