I know you didn't ask me but my two cents... I have a Galaxy Note (original) and iPhone 4S. I can say the picture is much better on the Note. The wife agrees and likes to use my phone when we are out for pictures.
But overall I still like the user experience on the ios better. Bigger screen and some unique features is what got me to Android. Apple puts out a 5" screen or even 4.5" I will switch back in a hearbeat.
