Of course it's posssible. How do you think Bush is selling this war.
1- He used WMD on his own people and Iran! Yet Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Perle, and the neo-conservatives pushing this war didn't think it was bad when he did those things and even wanted to give him more WMD. So obviously they didn't think those actions were bad at the time.
2 - He has nuclear weapons and he's going to use them - Sorry but now we know that's not ture and it appears we knew it all along.
3 - He's helped 9-11. No matter how hard they try to make that stick it's not true. But the president still markets the 9-11 linkage to Saddam because it play to Americans fear very well as a recent poll should 42% of American think he planned 9-11.
4 - Saddam is going to use his WMD on us. Not one shed of proof that he has attempted to attack us or Israel when he had WMD. Why now?
5- The reason to demonize Saddam is to move forward the neo-conservative agenda which Bush41 and Clinton rejected. Iraq was planned before 9-11 and if you read their strategy Iraq is first and then Iran but it appears Korea will take Iran's. This has nothing to do with WMD or being tyrants but everything to do with ideology.
Saddam is evil but did most of his killing when he was our friend. Heck Bush41 even gave Saddam permission to fly our US made Helicopters to slaughter the Shiites in Basra and the Kurds in the North after we asked them to revolt. They did and we abandoned them.
