It's hard to justify a study like this from a company that's short on cash. Their strategy appears to highlight efficacy without clearly demonstrating safety which should be the goal in Phase 1. Obesity is a tough indication considering the high bar set on safety.

Yeah I hear you. The more I think about this, the more I'm inclined to wait until either they do another financing (as I posted to ghmm, that could be March or April if prior frequency is any indication) or sign up another partner on more lucrative terms. I'm willing to wait a bit here to see some clearer visibility on the financial front, even if that means sacrificing some upside. Besides, I have several names on my watchlist that I feel much better about right now.
