#24163 RE: hoggydog #24160

I'll respond respectfully in regards to my "losing it". During the years I spent following thr Rambus cases, there was always a positive spin put on any negative that came out of the courts whether it was in the FED. or State court.

The cartel purposely had the Micron case in Delaware be delayed so they had that card to play if they could't get the results they wanted. When that case finally came to a ruling, the judge, Robinson not only pulled a ruling out of her behind by claiming Rambus had destroyed documents which she could not determine had existed, but a nearly identical case in Cal., Judge Whyte, who was said to be the best patent judge in the country found no substantiation that Rambus had destroyed enough documents to allow for Robinson to rule that not only did RMBS not destroy documents, but that they did so in a fashion that did not allow Micron to put on a good case.

She ruled to invalidate Rambus' patents. On the day the trial started, the then President of Micron, Steve Appleton, sat in the front of the courtroom, with a big smile on his face, because he knew how the judge would rule, for Micron. After the case ruling was issued, she spoke at a conference that was sponsored by the defendents. There was also some manueuvering to get her on the case and there some connections with the prior judge in his renting space to lawyers involved with the defendents, who also shuttled back and forth between their jobs at the FTC and the law firms for the defendents.

In regards to the national security card, Micron was the only substantial manufacturer of DDR in the US and did supply the US military. He went to conferences in Wash. and spoke with and was buddy-buddy with the President. Since he has the DOJ under his wing, you can imagine the influence he had.

And, lastly, the CAFC threw out Judge Whyte's court rulings and told he and Robinson to come back with a better set. So why didn't the CAFC take the rulings of "the best patent judge in the US and allow for Judge Robinson, who has had numerous of her rulings thrown out by the CAFC, be made his equal?

In the State court, a Korean jury foreman convinced his fellow jury memebers that Hynix and Micron were not guilty, despite evidence to the contrary. And, that case had repeated delays and a judge was switched late in the pre-trial proceedings. The State case against them for anti-trust violations, whose damages could have been over $2 billion, was lost by Rambus.

In another case involving TIVO, the judge allowed for repeated time for DISH to come-up with a work around, that never seemed to materialize. I hope the VHC investors are listening.

Google is heavily involved with the govt through the CIA and FBI, among other agencies. Read the Yahoo reports on that. Conspiracy, yes there is, and I'm afraid it is against VRNG. And, why is the stock in the $2's. Who's left, but maybe the mgt. and and retail who still think there's a pot of Gold in it.
