What is my problem with the US emulating Australia? First, gun laws DON'T WORK. Secondly, at this stage in America, after seeing our gov't assign dozens of czars, pass tons of Executive Orders, and with a Prez who says that Congress is basically irrelevant -- ALL of this in direct opposition to the Constitution -- no one should trust that this gov't would not eventually abuse the people as much as Nazi Germany did if the law-abiding citizenry were disarmed.
If gun bans do not work, then ask yourself WHY does the gov't want to do this? THINK! THINK! THINK!
You say you disagree? Read it and reconsider, and then ask yourself again, WHY? You also might want to read the heinous and anti-Constitutional Executive Orders passed by the past 4 Presidents, and ask yourself if you think ANY man in that seat can be trusted with this kind of absolute power at their disposal? Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely!
PS Notice that when the people had no guns, neither did the police! Liberals and Hollywood want the law-abiding disarmed, but THEY want to KEEP their bodyguards armed! HYPOCRITES to the MAX! DISGUSTING hypocrites!
